Becoming a Clinical Advisor to the Healthcare Commission

We are looking for clinicians from the full spectrum of healthcare specialities to help us improve the delivery of NHS services by supporting the second stage of the NHS complaints process.
In joining our growing number of Clinical Advisors, you could be asked to carry out independent clinical reviews of complaints arising about the NHS in England. The work can be demanding but it provides a stimulating opportunity to help the NHS learn from complaints made about it.
This role is fully supported by the Healthcare Commission complaints team. They provide full instruction on the requirements and methodology to be applied to ensure that every independent clinical review is carried out fairly and in accordance with statutory regulations and supporting guidance.
This is a paid role and represents a genuine opportunity to ‘put something back’ into the healthcare system within England.
